I cannot say enough good about these boots, I absolutely love them. I have worn Rocky Paratroopers for the past 13 years and just switched to the H.A.W.K. about 2 months ago. The comfort difference between the two is off the charts! I actually like getting out of the car now and doing some foot patrolling now. At first I was afraid they would be too warm because the ankle section seems a bit bulky, at least on the waterproof version anyway. They in fact stay nice and cool and the bulk around the ankle virtually goes away after a few week break in period. The only suggestion I have for improvement is they need a pull tab on the back to get them on a bit easier. They go on easy for the most part, but sometimes I find myself pulling them on with the Velcro flap that covers the zipper. It works but I'm afraid I'm gonna shorten the lifespan of that flap by pulling on it like that. All in all they are a fantastic boot and I would definitely recommend them to anybody in public safety!
